The Smol Site Method

It’s about the magical moment when you dig your hands in the earth and your to-do list melts away. A silent knowing settles in as you re-member your connection with those who have come before. Pollinators, water catchment systems, and soil remediation restore vitality to the land you live on. You resume your place as a synergetic member of a living, breathing, ecosystem where you belong.

Hi, I’m Carly

Seattle’s resident dirt whisperer. I create custom permaculture blueprints that help homeowners bring their dream gardens to life. I’m on a mission to make earth restoration accessible to everyday people. So, I created the Smol Site System, a user-friendly framework which facilitates sustainable gardening solutions for any lifestyle.

5 reasons you’ll love it

Easy-to-follow garden design

I create your design with YOU in mind. That includes your vision, location, time, and budget. You will receive a digital and printed design with crystal clear instructions so you know exactly what to do every step along the way.

Lifetime support

My design clients have an open invitation to contact me directly. From troubleshooting to pollinators, overwintering, and inclement weather, I’ll be here to help you through it.

No need to lift a finger

I can manage your project from start to finish. With decades of industry connections and project management experience, I am happy to curate a dream team to bring your project to life. Possibilities include hardscaping, lighting design, structure installation, water catchment, irrigation, and seasonal maintenance.

Abundance you can count on

I take the guesswork out so you can enjoy predictable success with fruiting trees, ancient and unique varieties, year-round harvests of berries, herbs, veggies, grains, flowers and fruits, and nutrient-dense produce that brings a special touch to every meal.

Seed swap opportunities

(swapportunities, if you will)

Clients are invited to exclusive seed swap and propagation gatherings. We build community, get giddy over gardens, and do our part to strengthen the seed pool. Together, we help more native and heirloom plants make the comeback that our ecosystem so desperately needs.
